  • Full-length boots (feet to upper thigh)

A 30-minute pneumatic compression session using Normatec boots that sequentially inflate from feet to hips, mimicking the body's natural muscle contractions to flush metabolic waste, reduce swelling, and accelerate leg recovery. Normatec's patented pulse technology is used by professional sports teams and Olympic athletes worldwide. At Super Young, you sit in a comfortable recovery chair while the boots cycle through zones, improving lymphatic drainage and venous return.

About this treatment

Normatec compression therapy at Super Young uses the brand's leg recovery system — full-length boots that extend from your feet to your upper thighs. You sit in a recovery chair, slide into the boots, and relax for 30 minutes while the device does the work.

The boots use Normatec's patented pulse technology, which differs from simple static compression. The system inflates sequentially — starting at the feet and moving upward through the calves, knees, and thighs — mimicking the natural peristaltic action of muscles during movement. Each zone holds pressure briefly before releasing, creating a wave-like massage that pushes fluid upward through the lymphatic and venous systems.

The physiological effect is enhanced lymphatic drainage and venous return. Metabolic waste products — lactate, cellular debris, excess fluid — are flushed from the legs more efficiently than passive rest alone. Studies on pneumatic compression in athletic recovery show reduced delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS), decreased limb circumference (a marker of swelling), and improved subjective recovery scores.
