A 30-minute session in the HOCATT pod — Hyperthermic Ozone and Carbonic Acid Transdermal Technology — combining nine modalities in one sitting: ozone therapy, carbonic acid, far infrared, steam, photon light therapy, microcurrents, electrotherapy, oxygen therapy, and aromatherapy. Endorsed by wellness figures including Dave Asprey and Tony Robbins, the HOCATT is designed to support detoxification, oxygenation, immune function, circulation, and skin health simultaneously. Super Young is one of the few clinics in Melbourne offering this technology.
About this treatment
The HOCATT (Hyperthermic Ozone and Carbonic Acid Transdermal Technology) at Super Young is a pod-style device that delivers nine therapeutic modalities in a single 30-minute session. You sit inside the pod with your head exposed while the system cycles through its protocol.
The session begins with a carbonic acid and steam phase lasting three to eight minutes. Carbon dioxide is introduced into the pod, which is absorbed through the skin and causes blood vessels to dilate — increasing circulation by up to 25 percent according to the manufacturer. Your pores open, preparing the body for the next phases.
Ozone is then introduced into the steam environment. As a highly reactive form of oxygen, ozone interacts with moisture on the skin to generate hydrogen peroxide, which the body uses as part of its natural immune response. Simultaneously, far infrared heat raises your core temperature (mild hyperthermia), photon light therapy targets skin cells, and microcurrents provide gentle electrostimulation.
