A comprehensive 65-biomarker blood panel designed for men, drawn by registered nurses at Super Young and reviewed in a follow-up consultation with a functional medicine doctor. Covers ten categories: blood count, hormones (free testosterone, DHEA-S, cortisol, LH/FSH), thyroid (TSH, FT3, FT4), liver function (LFTs + AST), kidney function (UEC), bone health (corrected calcium, phosphate), inflammation (hsCRP, homocysteine), lipids (including ApoA1/B and HDL ratio), sugar and metabolism (HbA1c, insulin, glucose), and vitamins and minerals (active B12, vitamin D, ferritin, magnesium). Results tracked in the Super Young app.

About this treatment

Super Young's baseline blood panel is a functional medicine-grade blood test covering 65 biomarkers across ten categories — substantially more comprehensive than a standard GP blood test. The male panel includes full hormone profiling (free testosterone, DHEA-S, cortisol, LH, FSH, oestradiol) alongside metabolic, inflammatory, thyroid, and nutritional markers.

The process begins with an onboarding questionnaire completed before your appointment — covering health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Blood is drawn by registered nurses at the clinic, typically taking around 30 minutes. Draws are available daily between 8am and 12pm, and you should fast for 8–12 hours beforehand (water is fine).

Once results return from the pathology lab, you attend a separate follow-up consultation with a functional medicine doctor. Unlike a standard GP review that flags values outside reference ranges, a functional medicine approach interprets results in the context of optimal ranges — narrower, evidence-based thresholds where the body functions best. A fasting glucose of 5.4 mmol/L might be 'normal' by pathology standards but is already moving toward insulin…
