EMTT Magnetic Therapy — Initial Treatment 30 min
Type
EMTT Magnetic Therapy
Duration
30 min
Initial 30-minute EMTT consultation and first treatment for new clients — clinical assessment, target identification, contraindication review, first treatment delivery.
EMTT (Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy) is a high-energy pulsed-magnetic-field therapy used alongside shock wave to support deep-tissue regeneration, cartilage and bone healing, and chronic musculoskeletal pain management. The technology was developed by STORZ Medical (the same manufacturer that produces many high-end shock wave devices) and is positioned as a complementary modality to FRV/RRV — addressing tissue layers and indications that respond better to magnetic-field stimulation than acoustic shock. Mechanism: high-frequency oscillating magnetic field (typically 100-300 kHz) penetrates tissue without contact and induces eddy currents at the cellular level. The biological response includes stimulation of mitochondrial activity, modulation of ion-channel behaviour, anti-inflammatory effect, and support of bone-cell (osteoblast) and cartilage-cell (chondrocyte) activity. Indications: osteoarthritis (knee, hip, small joints), bone-stress injuries and stress fractures, delayed union and non-union fractures, post-surgical bone healing, cartilage damage, chronic tendinopathies (often combined with shock wave), and deep myofascial pain that hasn't responded to surface modalities. Session protocol: 8-15 minutes of magnetic-field exposure to the target area; pain-free during delivery; typical course 5-10 sessions spaced 3-7 days apart. Often combined with focused shock wave in the same visit. Contraindications: pregnancy, pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices, metal implants in the immediate target area (relative — discuss with operator), epilepsy, malignancy in target area. The ceník offers single sessions, an initial 30-min appointment, 5-pack permanentka, a discounted bundle, and a top-up add-on rate for clients combining EMTT with another booking.
