A titanium ICX implant placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, later restored with a crown to recreate a natural-looking tooth. Implants are a fixed alternative to a bridge or denture and help preserve the surrounding bone. The clinic plans cases with CBCT 3D imaging and can provide a surgical guide, with bone grafting or sinus lift available where the available bone is limited.
About this treatment
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root. A small titanium screw — here the German-made ICX system — is placed into the jawbone, where over a healing period of several weeks it integrates with the bone to form a stable foundation.
