Treatment that saves a tooth whose inner pulp has become inflamed or infected, often after deep decay, a crack or trauma. The dentist removes the diseased tissue, cleans and disinfects the narrow canal inside the root, then seals it to prevent further infection. For a single-canal tooth this restores comfort and keeps the natural tooth in place. The practice also performs root canal treatment under a microscope for greater precision.
About this treatment

The space is then filled and sealed to prevent bacteria re-entering. For a single-rooted tooth with one canal — typically a front tooth — this is a relatively straightforward procedure; teeth with more canals are treated under the practice's separate multi-canal pricing.
