About this treatment
An all-ceramic veneer is a slim facing of dental porcelain, individually crafted to cover the visible surface of a tooth and refine its appearance. Veneers are used to address teeth that are discoloured and resistant to whitening, chipped or worn, slightly irregular in shape, or separated by small gaps, and because they are made from ceramic they mimic the translucency and light-reflecting qualities of natural enamel closely.
At Stomatologia Kiepury the process generally involves preparing the tooth by removing a very thin layer of enamel to make room for the veneer, taking an impression, and having the restoration made in the dental laboratory before it is bonded firmly into place at a later visit; the shade is chosen to harmonise with the neighbouring teeth.
