Professional whitening uses a controlled concentration of peroxide gel to break down stains within the enamel and dentine, lifting the teeth several shades lighter than they are naturally. Because it is dentist-supervised, it is safer and more effective than over-the-counter strips, and the gums and lips are protected during in-clinic treatment.
