About this treatment
A dental implant is a small screw-shaped titanium post that acts as an artificial tooth root. It is placed into the jawbone where a tooth is missing and, over the following weeks, the surrounding bone bonds to its surface in a process called osseointegration. Once stable, the implant is fitted with an abutment and a crown, giving a fixed replacement that looks and functions much like a natural tooth without affecting the neighbouring teeth.
At Stomatologia Chrobrego implant treatment begins with an examination and imaging — point and panoramic digital X-rays are taken on site — to assess bone volume and plan the position.
