Root canal (endodontic) treatment removes infected or damaged pulp from inside a tooth, disinfects the canals and seals them, relieving pain and saving a tooth that might otherwise be lost. At STARDENT endodontics is performed under a microscope by Agnieszka Giermak, who specialises in this area. Pricing is transparent and based on how many canals the tooth has, from 400 zł for a single-canal tooth up to 1,050 zł for a complex four-canal molar, with re-treatment of previously filled teeth priced separately.

About this treatment

Inside every tooth is a soft core of nerve and blood vessels called the pulp. When decay, a deep crack or trauma allows bacteria to reach it, the pulp becomes inflamed or infected, which can cause severe toothache and, if untreated, an abscess.
