DiamondGlow at SpaDerma Lincoln Park is a three-in-one skin resurfacing and infusion treatment using the Allergan DiamondGlow device, which combines a diamond-tipped exfoliation wand with vacuum suction extraction and simultaneous SkinMedica serum infusion in a single pass over the skin. Unlike HydraFacial which uses vortex-fluid exfoliation, DiamondGlow performs mechanical exfoliation via a diamond-chip tip that physically abrades and resurfaces the outermost epidermal layer as the handpiece passes over the skin. The vacuum suction simultaneously clears the exfoliated skin cells and extracts follicular contents — sebum, congestion, and comedones — while the same vortex draws the selected SkinMedica serum formulation deep into the freshly exfoliated skin surface, maximising active ingredient penetration at the moment when the skin barrier is most receptive.
