Rejuran PDRN (polynucleotide) skin booster injections derived from salmon DNA to repair skin, stimulate collagen, and improve hydration and elasticity.
Rejuran, also known as PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) therapy, is a skin rejuvenation treatment offered at Sozo Aesthetic Clinic that uses polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA to repair damaged skin and stimulate collagen synthesis. PDRN works through A2 adenosine receptor activation and a tissue repair mechanism to promote fibroblast proliferation, enhance collagen and elastin production, and improve overall skin quality from within. Originally developed in South Korea and now widely used across Asia, Rejuran has established a strong evidence base for improving skin hydration, elasticity, and thickness, as well as repairing sun-damaged and acne-scarred skin. The treatment involves microinjections delivered across the face (or specific areas of concern) using a fine mesotherapy technique, sometimes combined with a cannula for sensitive areas. A topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand to minimise discomfort. Visible benefits include improved skin hydration, a plumper and more supple skin texture, reduction of fine lines, and an overall improvement in skin quality often described as a 'glass skin' appearance popular in Korean aesthetic culture. Rejuran Healer (standard) is used for overall skin repair, while Rejuran S (more viscous) is specifically formulated for scar treatment including acne scars. At Sozo, Rejuran is used both as a standalone skin quality treatment and as part of the acne scar programme for accelerated healing and regeneration.
