INFINI is an advanced fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system offered at Sozo Aesthetic Clinic that combines the collagen-induction benefits of microneedling with the deeper tissue remodelling capability of radiofrequency energy. Unlike standard microneedling rollers that only create mechanical micro-injuries in the epidermis and superficial dermis, INFINI uses insulated microneedles to deliver RF energy precisely at adjustable depths (0.5mm to 3.5mm) within the dermis, where the most impactful collagen remodelling occurs. Because the needles are insulated along their length and the RF energy is deposited only at the tip, the epidermis is largely spared from thermal damage — this makes INFINI particularly effective and safe for patients with darker skin types (Fitzpatrick III–V) who are at higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation with ablative treatments. At Sozo, INFINI is used for multiple indications including atrophic acne scars (rolling, boxcar, and shallow ice-pick types), enlarged pores, skin texture improvement, mild to moderate skin laxity, and active acne management. A series of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is typically recommended for acne scar remodelling. Topical anaesthetic is applied for 30 to 45 minutes prior to the procedure to ensure patient comfort. Downtime is minimal — typically 2 to 3 days of redness and mild swelling — with patients generally able to return to normal activities within 48 hours.
