Dental Implant

Type

Dental Implants

Duration

2 hours

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium post placed in the jawbone, which acts as a root for a crown once it has integrated. At SmileStudio implant placement is priced separately from the final crown, and bone-grafting or a sinus lift can be added where the bone needs building up first. CBCT imaging and digital planning are used to position the implant accurately. The fixed price for the published implant stage makes the cost transparent before you commit.

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Over a healing period the bone bonds to the implant surface (osseointegration), creating a stable foundation onto which a crown — or, for several missing teeth, a bridge or denture — is later attached. Implants are a long-term way to replace one or more teeth without grinding down the neighbouring teeth as a conventional bridge would. SmileStudio plans implant treatment with cone-beam CBCT imaging and digital workflows so the position, angle and depth can be assessed in three dimensions before surgery, and the second-stage exposure of the implant is priced separately. The surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic and is generally well tolerated, with mild swelling and discomfort for a few days afterwards. Where there is not enough bone to support an implant — for example after long-standing tooth loss or in the upper back jaw near the sinus — the clinic offers bone augmentation and sinus-lift procedures to rebuild the site, each priced at 3,500 zł, sometimes carried out before or alongside implant placement. After integration, the dentist fits the final restoration; SmileStudio offers both metal-ceramic and all-ceramic crowns on implants, quoted separately so the full cost is clear. With good oral hygiene and regular maintenance visits, implants can last many years. Because every case differs, the dentist assesses your bone, gum health and bite and explains the full sequence, timeline and total cost — including any grafting and the chosen crown — at the planning stage.
