Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) produces a detailed three-dimensional X-ray of the jaws and teeth, used to plan implants, assess impacted teeth, examine root canals and investigate other conditions that a flat X-ray cannot show. SmileStudio offers full-arch, single-jaw and small sectored scans, as well as digital panoramic imaging, priced by the area captured so you only pay for what is needed.

About this treatment

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a specialised dental scan that captures a three-dimensional image of the teeth, jawbone, sinuses and surrounding structures at a far lower radiation dose than a medical CT. The scan itself is quick and non-invasive — you sit or stand still while the scanner rotates around your head, typically taking well under a minute of acquisition.
