The procedure is performed by the clinic's oral-surgery team under local anaesthetic, with CBCT imaging available to assess the roots and nearby nerve before more complex cases. Wisdom teeth are the last molars to erupt, usually in early adulthood, and frequently lack the space to come through properly. When they become impacted, partially erupt, trap food and bacteria, decay, or push against the second molar, removing them relieves symptoms and prevents further problems.
