Diagnostic imaging such as an RVG, panoramic or 3D scan can be added when a closer look is needed.

A dental consultation at Smile Studio is a dedicated appointment in which the dentist examines your teeth, gums and bite, listens to your concerns and explains what is happening in your mouth and what the options are. It is the right starting point for new patients, for anyone with a specific problem such as pain or a broken tooth, and for those planning more involved treatment like implants, orthodontics, whitening or a full smile makeover, where a clear diagnosis and plan are essential. During the visit the dentist checks for decay, assesses the health of the gums, looks at how the teeth meet and reviews any existing fillings, crowns or restorations. Where a closer look is needed, diagnostic imaging can be taken and is priced separately — from a single-tooth RVG radiograph, through a panoramic X-ray that shows all the teeth and jaws, to a 3D cone-beam CT scan used for implant and surgical planning. The clinic also offers specialist consultations for areas such as orthodontics and implantology. At the end of the appointment you receive an explanation of any findings and, where treatment is needed, a proposed plan with the relevant costs so you can make an informed decision. Honest assessment — including reassurance when no treatment is required — is part of the service, and the consultation fee covers the examination and advice rather than any procedures carried out separately.
