Three-dimensional cardiography captures the heart's electrical activity across spatial planes, offering greater sensitivity for detecting conduction abnormalities, chamber hypertrophy, and subtle rhythm disturbances compared to standard twelve-lead tracings. Echocardiography provides real-time ultrasound imaging of the heart in motion. The examination evaluates valve morphology and function, identifying regurgitation or stenosis. Myocardial wall thickness and motion patterns are assessed for signs of hypertrophic or dilated cardiomyopathy. Ejection fraction — the percentage of blood pumped from the left ventricle with each beat — quantifies overall cardiac pumping efficiency and serves as a key indicator of heart failure risk.
