The consultation is the foundation of every treatment journey at SL Aesthetic Clinic. All consultations are conducted by doctors certified by Singapore Medical Council's Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee (APOC), ensuring full compliance with MOH regulatory requirements. During a consultation, the doctor performs a thorough skin analysis using clinical assessment and may use imaging tools to evaluate pigmentation patterns, skin texture, hydration levels, and underlying structural concerns. Patients are invited to discuss their aesthetic goals, skin history, current skincare routine, and any prior aesthetic treatments or medications. Based on this assessment, the doctor formulates a personalised treatment plan that may combine in-clinic procedures with home care. Consultation fees range from SGD 50 to SGD 100 or more, depending on the seniority of the consulting doctor, and are applied toward treatment costs in most cases. The clinic operates under Singapore's strict regulatory framework, which prohibits the advertising of specific prescription product brand names; however, the consulting doctor explains all products and procedures by name during the appointment. Consultations cover the full scope of the clinic's services: injectables, laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, hair concerns, and body treatments. For complex cases or multi-concern patients, a comprehensive assessment may take up to 45 minutes. Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, and online or phone appointment booking is recommended.
