Combination Laser-Peel

The Skinscape Combination Laser-Peel is a multi-modal skin resurfacing treatment that harnesses the synergistic benefits of laser technology and chemical exfoliation in a single session. This approach allows Dr Harvey Ho to address multiple skin concerns simultaneously, making it one of the clinic's most versatile and efficient offerings.

The laser component is calibrated to the patient's specific concerns. For pigmentation and melasma, a Pico laser is used to shatter melanin deposits using ultra-short energy pulses that minimise thermal damage to surrounding tissue. For texture, scarring, or acne, a fractional or erbium-based laser may be selected to stimulate collagen remodelling and resurface the top layer of skin.

Following the laser phase, a customised chemical peel — typically salicylic acid or a Jessner solution — is applied to further dissolve dead skin cells, reduce sebum production, and enhance the skin's response to the preceding laser treatment. The combination effect accelerates cell turnover and amplifies the brightening and clearing results compared to standalone sessions.
