The 3 mm dermal depth generates additional collagen remodelling in the reticular dermis, improving skin texture and fine lines. Following treatment, the thermal coagulation injury triggers a sustained collagen synthesis response: new type I and type III collagen is deposited over the subsequent two to three months, with the peak lifting effect emerging at three to six months as the new collagen matures and contracts.
