Skinbooster therapy delivers microinjections of lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid directly into the mid-dermis to intensively hydrate the skin from within, improving texture, radiance, and suppleness without adding volume. Skinbooster is a form of skin-quality mesotherapy that uses a very lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid specially designed to integrate into the dermis rather than sit as a discrete depot. The molecular weight and rheology of the product allow it to bind up to 1,000 times its own weight in water in the tissue, creating a moisture reservoir that the skin cells can draw from over weeks to months. At Skinderm, the treating physician maps the injection points across the treatment area — typically the face, neck, décolletage, or backs of hands — and places a series of small intradermal blebs using a fine short needle. The sensation is similar to a series of small pinpricks; topical anaesthetic can be applied for comfort-sensitive patients. A session covers the target area in 30–45 minutes. Results unfold over 2–4 weeks as the HA integrates and begins attracting and retaining water molecules in the dermis. The skin appears progressively more hydrated, plumped, and luminous without the structured volume effect of traditional fillers. Fine surface lines soften as the dermis becomes better hydrated.
