Morpheus8 is an InMode device that delivers fractionated bipolar radiofrequency energy through an array of gold-coated microneedles that penetrate the skin to a precisely set depth. The needles act as electrodes: RF energy passes between pairs of needles through the tissue between them, converting to heat. The unique advantage of this approach is depth control — by adjusting needle penetration depth (0.5–7 mm) and RF power, the physician can direct thermal energy into the deep dermis, the fibro-septal network, or the superficial fat compartment, depending on the indication. At deeper settings the RF heat coagulates fat cells and remodels the fibrous septa that determine skin laxity, producing a tightening and contouring effect that surface-only devices cannot achieve.
