Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal works by directing pulses of light into the skin, where the energy is absorbed by the melanin pigment in the hair and converted to heat that damages the follicle's ability to regrow hair. Because each hair must be in its active growth phase to respond, and only a portion of hairs are in that phase at any time, the treatment is carried out as a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart to gradually reduce regrowth across an area.
