About this treatment
AviClear is an energy-based acne treatment that uses a 1726 nm laser wavelength selectively absorbed by the sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin. By delivering controlled energy to these glands, the laser aims to reduce excess oil production that contributes to acne, offering a device-based approach for people who would prefer not to rely solely on long courses of topical or oral medication.
At Skin Spa the treatment is carried out by a dermatologist or trained practitioner; the skin is cleansed and the device's contact cooling helps keep the procedure comfortable. A session for the full face takes around thirty to forty-five minutes, and you can usually return to normal activities the same day with some temporary redness or warmth.
