RF Microneedling (Morpheus 8)

Morpheus 8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the deeper layers of the skin to tighten laxity and improve texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the dermis to stimulate collagen and firm the skin, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey eye-area skin, the neck and some body areas. A short course gives the most noticeable lifting and tightening.

Morpheus 8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled RF energy released from the needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger a surface repair response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis to contract existing collagen and is associated with new collagen and elastin formation — producing a firming, tightening effect that plain microneedling cannot achieve on its own. At Skin-Medic the area is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around forty-five to sixty minutes. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime.
