Thread lifting at SKIN CARE Liberec is an outpatient surgical-aesthetic procedure that uses absorbable polylactic acid (PLA) threads inserted under the skin via cannula to mechanically lift sagging facial or body tissue and simultaneously trigger collagen synthesis along the thread track. Unlike dermal fillers that add volume, thread lifting creates a physical mechanical lift — the threads are anchored within the tissue and the cones or barbs on the thread engage surrounding tissue to hold the new position. Over six to twelve months, the PLA material gradually absorbs and is replaced by new collagen fibres deposited along the insertion track, providing a sustained structural reinforcement.
