Fotona 4D laser lifting at SKIN CARE Liberec uses the Fotona dual-wavelength platform — Nd:YAG and Er:YAG — to treat facial skin across all layers in a single non-surgical session. The four-pass protocol addresses the treatment sequentially from the inside out: intraoral heating of the oral mucosa with the Nd:YAG laser tightens the supporting tissue of the lower face and cheeks from within; a second pass heats the deep subdermal layer externally; a third pass stimulates the superficial dermis and skin surface; and a fourth pass (the laser peeling mode, omitted in the 3D variant for summer use) polishes the outermost skin layers. The result is collagen contraction and new collagen stimulation across all depths simultaneously — tighter, more lifted facial contours with improved skin quality. Sessions are 45–60 minutes. A deposit of 3,000 Kč is required.

Fotona 4D is a protocol developed specifically for the Fotona platform, a medical-grade dual-wavelength laser operating at Nd:YAG (1064 nm) and Er:YAG (2940 nm). The two wavelengths penetrate to different tissue depths: Nd:YAG reaches deep subdermal structures and the oral mucosa; Er:YAG treats the superficial dermis and epidermis. The 4D protocol sequences four distinct treatment modes to address facial laxity from all depths in a single appointment — a layered approach that explains the strong collagen remodelling effect in the deeper structural layers alongside surface skin quality improvement. Pass 1 (SMOOTH mode, intraoral): The physician places the laser handpiece inside the mouth and treats the buccal mucosa, palate, and upper oral cavity. The Nd:YAG wavelength heats the mucosal collagen, tightening the fascial support structures of the cheeks and lower face from the inside — a tissue plane that external treatments cannot reach. Clients describe a warm sensation; no pain. Pass 2 (FRAC3 mode, external): The Nd:YAG laser is applied externally in a fractional pattern that delivers targeted thermal energy to deep subdermal collagen — the layer responsible for facial volume support and jowl formation — triggering contraction of existing fibres and stimulating new collagen synthesis. Pass 3 (PIANO mode, external): A superficial pass with the Nd:YAG in a bulk-heating mode that heats the dermis and skin surface uniformly. This pass is omitted in the summer protocol (Fotona 3D) when sun exposure risk makes surface ablation inadvisable. Recovery is two to three days of mild redness and swelling. Most patients undertake one session and are satisfied; a second session four to six weeks later is recommended for more significant correction or for older patients.
