Laser tattoo removal at SKIN CARE Liberec uses a laser selectively absorbed by tattoo ink pigments to fragment them into micro-particles that the immune system clears over weeks. Different ink colours absorb different wavelengths, which is why the clinic uses an advanced laser platform capable of targeting multiple ink types. Black, dark blue, and dark green inks typically respond fastest; yellow, white, and light pastels require more sessions due to their lower laser absorption. The skin peels within five to seven days of each session as the superficial ink is expelled; complete healing is seven to twenty-one days. Up to ten sessions at six-to-eight-week intervals may be needed for complete removal, with individual results varying by ink colour, tattoo age, skin tone, and ink depth. A cover-up lightening protocol — fewer sessions to fade rather than fully remove — is also available.

Laser tattoo removal works on the principle of selective photothermolysis applied to the ink pigments deposited in the dermis by the tattooing needle.
