Eyelid surgery (blefaroplastika) at SANUS Hradec Králové removes excess, drooping skin and herniated fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids to produce a more alert, refreshed appearance and — in the case of significant upper eyelid ptosis — to improve the visual field. Who is this for?
Adults with excess upper eyelid skin causing hooded appearance or visual field restriction, and/or lower lid fat herniation (under-eye bags) wanting surgical correction
Preparation required
Cease anti-inflammatory medications and blood thinners 2 weeks prior. Arrange a driver home. Avoid contact lenses for 2 weeks post-procedure. Bring sunglasses for comfort after surgery.
