The Chequeo Full Body Plus builds on every component of the Full Body programme and adds two diagnostically significant procedures that address commonly underscreened areas: the gastrointestinal tract and the spinal column. Virtual colonoscopy (CT colonography) performed under sedation provides a non-invasive examination of the colon and rectum, screening for polyps, masses, and structural abnormalities without requiring traditional optical colonoscopy. While it does not replace diagnostic colonoscopy when abnormalities are found, it serves as an effective screening tool with considerably less patient discomfort and recovery time. The sedation component ensures the procedure is well tolerated. Spine MRI evaluates the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebrae, intervertebral discs, and spinal cord, screening for disc herniations, degenerative changes, stenosis, and other structural pathology. Because of the sedation requirement for the virtual colonoscopy and the volume of imaging involved, this programme is structured as a two-day visit. The first day typically covers the MRI-based assessments and blood work, while the second day is devoted to the CT procedures including coronary calcium scoring and virtual colonoscopy. All imaging is interpreted by specialist radiologists within the JCI-accredited hospital, and the consolidated results report covers every modality.
