The Chequeo Classic is Sanitas La Moraleja's entry-level health screening package, designed to provide a broad baseline assessment of cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, and sensory health in a single morning visit. Despite being the most affordable option, it covers a meaningful range of diagnostic territory that goes beyond what a standard GP consultation would typically include. The cardiovascular component centres on a stress test performed alongside a resting ECG, which evaluates the heart's electrical activity both at rest and under physical exertion. This combination may help identify rhythm abnormalities or ischaemic patterns that only manifest during exercise. Spirometry assesses lung capacity and airflow, providing an early indicator of obstructive or restrictive respiratory conditions. The blood panel covers the core metabolic markers: complete blood count, fasting glucose, kidney function (creatinine, urea), liver enzymes, total cholesterol, and triglycerides. Urinalysis adds a complementary metabolic and renal screen. The ophthalmological examination includes visual acuity, colour vision, intraocular pressure measurement, and retinal evaluation — particularly relevant for early detection of conditions such as glaucoma. Audiometry screens hearing function, and a frontal and lateral chest X-ray provides a structural overview of the thorax. All testing takes place within the JCI-accredited hospital environment, with results reviewed and reported on the same day.
