Type
Full Body Checkup
Duration
8 hours
A full-day seven-to-eight-hour programme that combines all Executive screening components with brain MRI and MRA, coronary artery calcium CT scoring, PET-CT imaging for those aged 40 and above, dental examination, audiometry, pulse wave velocity testing, and advanced cardiovascular and metabolic panels. This is Samsung Medical Center's most comprehensive single-day health evaluation.
The Premium Health Screening occupies an entire day at Samsung Medical Center's Health Promotion Center, moving through imaging, endoscopy, specialist consultations, and laboratory work in a carefully sequenced schedule managed by a dedicated coordinator. It delivers a level of diagnostic coverage that would normally require weeks of separate specialist appointments. Brain MRI and MRA on a high-field scanner provide detailed structural imaging of the brain parenchyma and cerebrovascular mapping of the arterial system. The MRI component identifies tumours, white matter lesions, areas of ischaemia, and other structural abnormalities, while MRA maps the circle of Willis and major cerebral arteries to screen for unruptured aneurysms, stenosis, and vascular malformations. This cerebrovascular screening is particularly valuable given that stroke remains one of the leading causes of death and long-term disability globally. Coronary artery calcium scoring uses a low-dose CT scan to quantify calcium deposits in the coronary arteries, producing an Agatston score that stratifies cardiovascular event risk over the following decade. This non-invasive test has strong predictive value and is increasingly used alongside traditional lipid panels to guide statin therapy decisions. For patients aged 40 and above, PET-CT imaging combines positron emission tomography with computed tomography to screen for metabolically active lesions across the body, offering whole-body cancer surveillance that anatomical imaging alone cannot provide. Additional components include pulse wave velocity testing to assess arterial stiffness, a recognised independent predictor of cardiovascular events. Audiometry screens for hearing loss patterns that can indicate noise damage, age-related decline, or otological conditions. A dental examination covers oral health, a frequently overlooked component of systemic disease risk. The advanced metabolic and cardiovascular panels expand the already broad Executive blood work with additional hormonal, nutritional, and inflammatory markers. The final consultation is extended to allow a senior physician to synthesise findings across all organ systems into a cohesive risk profile. Women's packages include comprehensive breast imaging, gynaecological assessment, and expanded hormone panels. The complete bilingual report is delivered with all imaging on digital media.
