Pelvis MRI (with Prostate)

3T MRI of the pelvis with prostate assessment and additional sequences. Covers bladder, reproductive organs, pelvic lymph nodes, and detailed prostate evaluation.

The pelvic MRI at Sagena covers the pelvic organs using the 3T MAGNETOM Vida with dedicated additional sequences. In male patients the examination includes detailed prostate assessment with multiparametric sequences — the centre has particular expertise in prostate imaging, having performed over 750 MRI/TRUS-guided prostate biopsies since 2016. In female patients the examination evaluates the uterus, cervix, ovaries, and parametrial tissues. Both sexes receive assessment of the bladder, rectum, pelvic sidewall musculature, and lymph node stations. At CZK 8,000 the pelvic MRI includes prostate assessment and additional sequences. The 3T field strength provides superior resolution for detecting small prostate lesions and characterising pelvic masses. This facility's prostate imaging programme is one of the most established in the Moravian-Silesian region.
