3T MRI of the brain with additional scans providing high-resolution cross-sectional imaging. Deep Resolve AI reconstruction enhances image quality beyond conventional 3T capability.
The brain MRI at Sagena is performed on the 3T Siemens MAGNETOM Vida with Deep Resolve AI-based image reconstruction, which produces images with enhanced resolution and reduced noise compared to conventional MRI. The examination covers the full intracranial compartment including brain parenchyma, ventricles, basal ganglia, brainstem, cerebellum, and skull base. The protocol includes T1-weighted, T2-weighted, FLAIR, and diffusion-weighted sequences to evaluate grey-white matter differentiation, detect tumours and metastases, identify ischaemic changes, and characterise inflammatory or demyelinating pathology. The 3T field strength provides roughly double the signal of 1.5T systems, translating to sharper images and improved detection of small lesions. At CZK 8,000 (approximately EUR 320), the brain MRI includes additional sequences beyond a basic protocol. Contrast enhancement with gadolinium is available from CZK 1,200 if the radiologist identifies findings requiring further characterisation. A medical consultation to obtain a referral is available on-site for CZK 1,000 for patients who do not have one.
