Mini Facelift (QuickLift)

The mini facelift at RVmedCentrum — also called QuickLift — is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedure designed for patients in their 40s and early 50s with mild to moderate facial sagging. Small incisions are placed in the hairline and around the ear, and the procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, allowing outpatient recovery. The QuickLift delivers results lasting 5 to 10 years with significantly less downtime than a full SMAS facelift.

The mini facelift, referred to as QuickLift at RVmedCentrum, targets the lower third of the face — jowls, nasolabial folds, and early neck laxity — without the more extensive intervention of a full SMAS facelift. It is best suited to patients aged 40 to 50 who are noticing early facial descent but retain reasonable skin elasticity. The surgeon makes minimal incisions within the temporal hairline and continuing naturally behind and below the ear. Underlying tissues are repositioned and anchored, and excess skin is removed without creating visible tension. Because local anaesthesia is used rather than general, the patient remains comfortable and awake throughout, and the procedure is performed as a day case. An elastic bandage is worn for the first 2 to 3 weeks (continuously initially, then only at night for a further week). The first post-operative check-up takes place at days 2 to 3; sutures are removed at day 14. Social activities are typically possible within 10 to 14 days when bruising and swelling have resolved. Results are long-lasting at 5 to 10 years, making this an efficient investment for patients who are not yet ready for the commitment of a full SMAS procedure. Post-operative check-ups are included at no charge. For patients with more significant laxity, the full SMAS facelift with neck lift is available from 60,000 Kč.
