The CMSlim Contour Master uses HI-EMT (High-Intensity Electromagnetic Muscle Training) technology to produce what are termed supramaximal muscle contractions — contractions of a far greater intensity than is achievable through voluntary effort. During physical exercise, neural fatigue limits any individual contraction to approximately 35% of maximum muscle fibre recruitment.
