Clinical-grade indications (decompression sickness, severe non-healing wounds, carbon-monoxide poisoning, sudden sensorineural hearing loss, etc.) need a hard-shell ≥2.0 ATA hospital chamber — REH-AS is not a substitute. Preparation required
Avoid alcohol and heavy meals 2–3 hours before each session. Wear comfortable clothing without metal fastenings or strong fragrances. Inform staff of any cold/flu symptoms — ear-equalisation can be uncomfortable when congested. Bring a water bottle.
