Laser hair removal at RAJSKA Clinic uses selective photothermolysis to permanently reduce hair growth on the face and body — targeting melanin in the hair follicle with laser energy that destroys the follicle's growth centre while leaving surrounding skin undamaged. Six sessions are recommended for significant permanent reduction, as the laser is only effective during the anagen (active growth) phase, which only a proportion of follicles are in at any given time. A 10% discount applies on packages of six sessions for any area. Areas treated range from the upper lip (600 Kč) and underarms (1,400 Kč) to full legs (5,000 Kč) and full chest (3,000 Kč).
About this treatment
Laser hair removal works through selective photothermolysis: laser light at a specific wavelength is selectively absorbed by melanin (the pigment in hair) and converts to heat, raising the temperature within the hair follicle to the point of irreversible thermal damage. At RAJSKA Clinic, laser hair removal covers a comprehensive range of body areas, from small facial zones (upper lip, chin, neck) to full-body areas (legs, arms, chest). The price structure reflects treatment time and surface area, with small facial areas from just 600 Kč per session.
Six sessions are recommended as a standard course. Laser hair removal can only destroy follicles in the anagen (active growth) phase — at any given time, only 15–20% of follicles are in anagen, which is why multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart are needed to catch all follicles at the right phase.
