Women's Health Screening Panel

Type

Women’s Health Panel

Duration

1 hour

Comprehensive women's health blood panel and gynaecological screening covering hormonal function, cervical cancer screening, HPV testing, and specialist review by a Raffles gynaecologist.

Raffles Women's Centre offers dedicated women's health screening packages that combine laboratory diagnostics with specialist gynaecological assessment. The standard screening panel includes core blood markers (full blood count, liver and renal function, fasting lipids and glucose, HbA1c) alongside female-specific hormonal markers: FSH, LH, oestradiol, progesterone, prolactin, testosterone, DHEA-S, and AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone for ovarian reserve assessment). Thyroid function (TSH, FT4) is routinely included given its high prevalence in women. Cancer screening elements include Pap smear (liquid-based ThinPrep or conventional) and HPV DNA testing for high-risk genotypes, both recommended as part of Singapore's national cervical screening programme. Where clinically indicated, the specialist may arrange breast ultrasound or mammogram referral, transvaginal ultrasound for pelvic organ assessment, or bone density screening for perimenopausal and post-menopausal patients. Results are reviewed by a specialist gynaecologist who provides clinical context, identifies any abnormalities requiring follow-up, and initiates management where appropriate. The centre's screening packages are designed to serve women across all life stages — from reproductive health concerns in younger women through to post-menopausal health monitoring. Annual screening is recommended for most women, with more frequent review for those on HRT or with identified risk factors. Insurance and Medisave may be applicable depending on the specific tests performed.
