Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) & Menopause Management

Type

Hormone Therapy

Duration

45 min

Specialist-led hormone replacement therapy for menopause, perimenopause, and hormonal imbalance, delivered by gynaecologists at Raffles Specialist Centre. Includes bioidentical and conventional HRT options.

Raffles Women's Centre provides comprehensive menopause and hormone management services led by specialist gynaecologists. The clinical pathway begins with an initial consultation to review symptoms, medical history, and cardiovascular and bone health risk factors, followed by a hormone blood panel covering FSH, LH, oestradiol, progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid function. Based on results and clinical assessment, the specialist may recommend a personalised HRT regime, which can include oestrogen-only or combined oestrogen-progesterone therapy in oral, transdermal (patch or gel), or vaginal formulations. Bioidentical hormone preparations are available for patients who prefer a more naturally-derived option. The centre's menopause management approach addresses the full spectrum of perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms — hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disruption, vaginal dryness, and reduced libido — as well as longer-term concerns such as osteoporosis prevention and cardiovascular risk reduction. All HRT prescriptions are monitored with follow-up consultations and repeat blood panels at 3–6 month intervals to ensure safety and optimal therapeutic effect. The centre follows the latest clinical guidelines from bodies including the British Menopause Society and NICE, ensuring that hormone therapy decisions are evidence-based and individualised. Medisave may be claimable for consultation fees subject to conditions.
