Raffles Diagnostic Blood Panel

Type

Blood Testing

Duration

30 min

Comprehensive diagnostic blood testing including full blood count, metabolic panels, lipid profiles, liver and kidney function, hormonal assays, tumour markers, and specialist panels for cardiac, cancer, and metabolic risk stratification.

Raffles Health Screeners provides a broad range of diagnostic blood testing services, available both as standalone lab-tests-only packages and as integral components of its comprehensive health screening programmes. With laboratory services operated by Raffles Hospital's accredited clinical laboratory, all tests meet Singapore's highest diagnostic standards. Foundational blood panels include full blood count (FBC) to assess red and white cell populations and platelets, comprehensive metabolic panel covering glucose (HbA1c and fasting glucose), kidney function (creatinine, eGFR, urea), liver function (ALT, AST, ALP, GGT, bilirubin, albumin), and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). These baseline markers provide a complete biochemical snapshot of metabolic health. Lipid profiling covers total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and non-HDL cholesterol, with advanced cardiovascular risk markers such as Apolipoprotein B and Lipoprotein(a) available in higher-tier packages. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) and homocysteine can be added for inflammation and vascular risk assessment. Cancer surveillance blood panels include gender-relevant tumour markers: PSA (prostate), CEA (colorectal/lung), CA19-9 (gastrointestinal), AFP (liver), CA125 (ovarian), CA15-3 (breast), and CYFRA 21-1 (lung). These are integrated into the Deluxe and above packages, and can be ordered individually on clinical advice. Hormonal panels are available for both sexes, covering testosterone, DHEA-S, oestradiol, FSH, LH, progesterone, and SHBG for reproductive and endocrine health assessment. Nutritional markers including vitamin D (25-OH), vitamin B12, folate, ferritin, and iron studies round out the metabolic picture. All blood draws are performed by trained phlebotomists at the screening centre, with results typically available within 1–3 working days. Results are reviewed by a physician who provides a written report and personalised recommendations.
