Duration
30 min
MRI of a single knee joint assessing menisci, cruciate and collateral ligaments, articular cartilage, and subchondral bone. Suitable for sports injuries, chronic pain, and pre-arthroscopy workup.
The knee MRI protocol at RADTOP produces detailed images of meniscal tissue, the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, medial and lateral collateral ligaments, articular cartilage across all three compartments, and the surrounding soft-tissue structures including the patellar tendon and popliteal fossa. This scan is one of the most commonly requested musculoskeletal examinations at RADTOP, used after acute sports injuries, for investigation of chronic joint pain, and as part of pre-operative planning before arthroscopic procedures. No referral is needed for self-pay appointments.
