Brain MRI with Vessel Imaging

MRI of the head including time-of-flight angiography of the intracranial vessels. Evaluates brain parenchyma, white matter, ventricular system, and major cerebral arteries in a single session without contrast injection.

This combined head and vessel scan at RADTOP covers both structural brain imaging and non-contrast intracranial angiography using time-of-flight (TOF) sequences. The structural component images the cerebral hemispheres, cerebellum, brainstem, and skull base for space-occupying lesions, ischaemic changes, or degenerative patterns. The TOF angiogram maps the circle of Willis and proximal branches, which may support screening for aneurysms or vascular stenosis. The examination does not require intravenous contrast, making it suitable for patients with renal concerns or those who prefer a non-invasive approach. Contrast-enhanced sequences are available as a separate add-on when clinically indicated. Results are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist from the RADTOP team.
