About

Privatpraxis für Radiologie & Neuroradiologie Dres. Finkenstaedt & Hellenbrand is a specialist private radiology practice founded in 1998 and located at Raboisen 40 in Hamburg's Altstadt district. The practice is led by Dr. med. Michael Finkenstaedt, a radiologist with a focus on sports medicine imaging, and Dr. med. Uwe Hellenbrand, a radiologist and neuroradiologist who joined as partner in 2000. The team includes CT specialist Gunnar Fiß and Dr. med. Monica Hornburg, who leads breast MRI diagnostics. The practice operates a 3 Tesla Philips Ingenia MRI system with a wide 70 cm bore tunnel and ambient-light technology for patient comfort, alongside an ESAOTE O-SCAN open low-field MRI for claustrophobic patients, children, and those with certain implants. CT services include 3D reconstruction and artifact reduction for patients with metal implants. Imaging-guided perineural injection therapy is offered for musculoskeletal and nerve pain. Billing follows the GOÄ private fee schedule; PKV, Beihilfe, and self-pay GKV patients are accepted. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00.
