Detects active SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A/B infections.
About this treatment
This test detects active infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the virus causing COVID-19) and the influenza A and B viruses. Because some symptoms of COVID-19 and flu are similar but treated differently, testing helps identify which virus you may have. You can also be infected with both flu and COVID-19 at the same time. Included with your purchase, if your test results are positive for influenza A/B infections, an independent physician may be able to provide you with treatment options. Results help determine appropriate treatment and inform public health measures. Knowing whether you have COVID-19 or the flu allows for targeted treatment and isolation to prevent further spread.
