This test detects the presence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Positive results may indicate prior infection or vaccination. A positive result may also occur after a COVID-19 vaccination, but the clinical significance is not yet known. This test helps determine if you have antibodies from a prior infection or vaccination. The results should not be interpreted as an indication of immunity or protection.
