Injection lipolysis uses phosphatidylcholine (PPC) and deoxycholic acid (DC) injected directly into subcutaneous fat deposits to disrupt adipocyte cell membranes and trigger their breakdown and removal via the lymphatic system. At 349 PLN per session (3-session package 999 PLN), QLINIQUE offers this procedure at a fraction of German clinic pricing for the same indication (typically 300 to 600 EUR per session). The procedure is particularly effective for small, localised fat deposits that resist diet and exercise: double chin (submental fat), jowl fat pads, upper arm fat, flanks, and periumbilical fat (immediately around the navel). The active components — either Aqualyx, Kybella, or branded PPC/DC preparations — are injected in a grid pattern across the target fat compartment using a fine needle, with sessions typically spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. At each session, the solution causes fat cell membrane lysis (disruption) and a controlled local inflammation that triggers macrophage-mediated clearance of the damaged cell debris. The cleared fat volume is permanent — the lysed cells do not regenerate — but patient selection is important: lipolysis works best for patients at or near their ideal weight with clearly demarcated discrete fat deposits rather than generalised overweight.
