Cheek & Facial Volumetry (Hyaluronic Acid)

A structured, full-face approach using hyaluronic acid to restore the volume that flattens the cheeks and softens the jawline and facial oval with age. Rather than treating single lines, the doctor plans volume across the face so proportions stay balanced and the result looks natural. This is a larger treatment using several millilitres, performed by a surgeon, and the hyaluronic acid can be dissolved if an adjustment is wanted.

Facial volumetry uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid to replace the deep volume that is gradually lost from the cheeks, jawline and facial oval with age. Because that loss of underlying support is what drives flattening and sagging, restoring it in the right places often does more for a refreshed appearance than treating individual lines. Topical EMLA or Anesderm anaesthetic is applied first, and most fillers also contain lidocaine for comfort. The gel is placed with a needle or a blunt cannula depending on the area; results are visible immediately and continue to settle over one to two weeks as any initial swelling resolves. Mild swelling, tenderness or small bruises are normal for a few days. Hyaluronic acid results in these structural areas typically last around twelve to eighteen months before the gel is naturally broken down. As with all hyaluronic acid work, the result can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you want to reverse or adjust it. Because this is a more comprehensive treatment, the price reflects the larger volume of product and planning involved. Restoring midface and jawline support is associated with a more youthful, balanced facial contour.
