PRX-T33 at Projekt Skora is a unique biorevitalisation peel that achieves deep dermal stimulation without the visible peeling, flaking, and extended downtime associated with traditional chemical peels. The patented formula combines three active components: 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) for deep dermal stimulation, low-concentration hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to protect the epidermis from TCA-induced frosting, and 5% kojic acid for brightening and melanin regulation. The mechanism is distinct from conventional TCA peels. Normally, TCA at 33% would cause significant epidermal destruction and visible peeling over 7-10 days. In the PRX-T33 formulation, the hydrogen peroxide creates a protective gas barrier at the epidermal level that prevents TCA from damaging surface cells while allowing it to penetrate and stimulate fibroblasts in the deeper dermis. The result is a treatment that triggers collagen and glycosaminoglycan production at depth without disrupting the skin surface. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes. The solution is massaged firmly into the skin in multiple layers, typically 3-5 applications depending on skin tolerance and treatment goals. Patients feel a warming or mild stinging sensation during application, which subsides within minutes. No neutralisation is required — the solution is self-limiting.
